01

Digital Courses

A refund request may be submitted within 7 days, provided the usage conditions set out below are met.

02

After 90 Days

A refund request is not accepted solely because the program or credit was not started or used.

03

1:1 Session Booking

A 1:1 session must be booked at least 12 hours before its scheduled start time.

04

Late Cancellation

Cancellation within the final 3 hours results in the live session being deducted and replaced with recorded content.

Important Before Enrolling

After 90 Days from the registration or payment date, Athar Academy does not accept a refund request solely because the student has not started studying or has not used the program or credit. This does not mean that all requests submitted before 90 days are eligible for a refund; each service remains subject to the conditions set out in this policy.

01

Policy Introduction

Athar Academy aims Athar Academy to ensure that enrollment and refund terms are clear before a purchase is completed.

This policy explains when fees may be refunded, the rules for cancelling or postponing programs, the terms for 1:1 sessions, and how refund requests are submitted and reviewed.

By completing enrollment or a purchase, the student acknowledges that they have reviewed the terms applicable to the selected program or service.

02

Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to services purchased directly from Athar Academy, including:

  • Recorded educational courses.
  • Live bootcamps and training programs.
  • Professional programs.
  • 1:1 sessions.
  • 1:1 session packages.
  • Subscriptions and educational services.
  • Other educational or consulting services.

Some programs may have additional specific terms, which will be stated on the program page, quotation, or agreement before enrollment is completed.

03

Maximum Refund Request Period

After 90 days from the registration or payment date, a refund request is not accepted solely because the student did not begin studying or did not use the service.

This also applies in the following cases:

  • Not accessing the learning platform.
  • Not viewing any content.
  • Not booking any 1:1 sessions.
  • The student independently postponing their studies.
  • Ceasing communication with the Academy.
  • Leaving the credit or program unused.

A student's failure to use the service does not extend the refund period or start a new refund period.

Important: The 90-day period is not a guaranteed refund window. The request must also meet the refund conditions applicable to the specific program or service.

04

Digital and Recorded Courses

A student may submit a refund request within 7 calendar days from the purchase date of an eligible digital course, provided all of the following conditions are met:

  • The student must not have viewed or consumed more than 20% of the program content.
  • The course must not have been completed.
  • The student must not have passed the main final assessment or examination.
  • A final completion certificate must not have been issued.
  • There must be no repeated pattern of refund policy abuse.

The right to cancel after digital content has begun may be subject to additional rights provided by the law applicable to the customer.

05

Live Programs and Bootcamps

Live programs and bootcamps are subject to the program terms, its start date, and the services already provided to the student.

If the Academy agrees to transfer a student to another cohort or postpone the program start date, the refund period is not recalculated from the date of the new cohort.

Example

If enrollment took place on January 1 and the student was later transferred to a cohort starting in March, January 1 remains the recognized enrollment date for calculating applicable periods.

06

Not Starting the Program

A student's failure to begin studying does not make the amount refundable indefinitely.

Applicable periods are calculated from the registration or payment date, not from the date the student first views content or attends their first session.

07

1:1 Sessions

1:1 sessions have separate booking and cancellation rules because each time slot is reserved in advance for the student and instructor.

12 Hours Minimum Booking Notice
3 hours Latest Cancellation Time Without Deduction
08

Booking a 1:1 Session

A 1:1 session must be booked at least12 hours in advance.

Example

If the session is scheduled for 8:00 PM, it must be booked no later than 8:00 AM on the same day.

The Academy or instructor may accept a late booking in exceptional circumstances. This does not obligate the Academy to accept late bookings in the future.

09

Cancelling or Rescheduling a 1:1 Session

A student may cancel a session or request a schedule change at least3 hours in advance.

In This Case

The session is not deducted from the live-session credit, and an alternative time may be booked subject to availability.

Example

If the session is scheduled for 8:00 PM, it may be cancelled or rescheduled without deduction until 5:00 PM.

10

Cancellation Within the Final 3 Hours

If a student cancels a session less than 3 hoursbefore the scheduled time, the session is deducted from their live-session credit.

What Happens?
  • One session is deducted from the live-session credit.
  • The session is not returned to the live-session credit.
  • The session or educational content covering the same topic is provided in recorded form instead of being delivered live with the instructor.
Cancellation 3 Hours or More in Advance No Deduction Cancellation Less Than 3 Hours in Advance Live → Recorded
11

No-Show

If the student does not attend the session at the scheduled time and does not cancel within the permitted period, the session is treated as a no-show.

In this case, the session is deducted from the live-session credit, and appropriate recorded content is provided instead, depending on the nature of the program.

12

Late Arrival

The session duration is calculated from its original scheduled start time, not from the time the student joins.

Example

If the session is scheduled from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the student joins at 8:20 PM, the session still ends at 9:00 PM.

The session is not automatically extended because of the student's late arrival.

13

Cancellation by the Instructor or Academy

If the session cannot be delivered due to the instructor or for a reason attributable to Athar Academy, the session will not be deducted from the student's credit.

  • The session is returned to the credit if it was deducted automatically.
  • The session may be rescheduled without additional fees.
  • The three-hour rule does not apply to the student when the cancellation is made by the Academy or instructor.
14

Technical Issues

If a technical issue caused by the Academy or the system being used prevents delivery of the session or service, the following may apply depending on the circumstances:

  • Rescheduling the session.
  • Returning the session to the credit.
  • Completing the remaining portion at another time.

Issues caused by the student's internet connection, device, or lack of technical readiness are not treated as cancellations by the Academy.

15

Validity of Session Credit

Session credit must be used within the validity period specified for the package or program at the time of purchase.

Failure to use the credit within its validity period does not automatically entitle the student to a refund and does not extend the refund request deadline.

16

Bundles and Combined Programs

If a purchase includes more than one course or service in a single bundle, use of the bundle components is considered when reviewing a refund request.

If a partial refund is approved, the value of services or sessions already used may be deducted before the amount due is determined.

17

Promotions and Discounts

When a refund is approved for a purchase made using a discount, coupon, or special offer, the refund is calculated based on the amount actually paid by the student rather than the price before the discount.

18

Installments and Payment Plans

Installments are a method of paying for the program. Each installment is not treated as a separate purchase that starts a new refund period.

Applicable periods are calculated from the original registration or purchase date, not from the date of the latest installment.

A student's decision to stop attending the program does not automatically cancel agreed installments or financial obligations.

19

Certificates and Program Completion

A program is generally not eligible for a refund after it has been completed, a final completion certificate has been issued, or the main final assessment has been passed.

20

Changes to the Instructor or Program Schedule

Athar Academy may need to change the instructor or the time of a session for operational reasons.

A change of instructor alone does not create a refund entitlement when a suitable instructor and a comparable level of service are provided.

If a schedule change is substantial and a suitable alternative cannot be provided, the student will be contacted to determine an appropriate solution.

21

Program Cancellation by Athar Academy

If the Academy cancels a paid program and cannot provide the service or a suitable alternative, an appropriate solution will be offered to the student based on the circumstances.

  • Transfer to another cohort.
  • Transfer to a suitable alternative program.
  • Credit for use with another service.
  • Refund of the amount due for the service that was not provided.
22

Cases Not Eligible for a Refund

Subject to mandatory legal rights, refund requests are not accepted under the Academy policy in the following cases:

  • More than 90 Days have passed from the registration or payment date, even if the student has not started studying.
  • The permitted content usage threshold for the program has been exceeded.
  • The program has been completed or a completion certificate has been issued.
  • The main final assessment has been passed.
  • A substantial portion of the service has been used.
  • The program or credit has expired because the student did not use it.
  • Late cancellation of a 1:1 session in relation to restoring live-session credit.
  • Failure to attend a 1:1 session without prior cancellation.
  • Abuse of the refund policy or improper repeated purchase-and-refund activity.
23

How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests should be sent to:

info@atharhubs.com

Please include the following information to help us review the request:

  • Full name.
  • Email address used for registration.
  • Course or program name.
  • Order number or transaction number, if available.
  • Payment date.
  • Reason for the refund request, if applicable.
24

Reviewing a Refund Request

The request is assessed based on information related to enrollment and use of the service, including:

  • Registration and payment date.
  • Date the refund request was submitted.
  • Type of program or service.
  • Percentage of content used.
  • Number of sessions used.
  • Attendance, tests, and assessments.
  • Whether a completion certificate has been issued.
  • Program-specific terms.

Complete requests are usually reviewed within up to 5 business days.

25

Refund Processing After Approval

When a refund is approved, the amount is usually returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

After the Academy issues the refund, the bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time for the amount to appear in the customer's account.

The time required for the funds to arrive varies depending on the payment method and bank and may be outside Athar Academy's control.

26

Currencies and Exchange Rate Differences

If payment was made in a currency different from the customer's account currency, the amount received on refund may differ because of exchange rates, bank fees, or card issuer charges.

Athar Academy does not control exchange rates or fees charged by the customer's bank or card issuer.

27

Bank Disputes and Payment Chargebacks

We recommend contacting Athar Academy first if there is an issue with a payment so our team can review it.

If a payment dispute is opened with the bank or payment provider while a direct refund request is also pending, the direct refund may be temporarily paused until the dispute status is clear, to avoid refunding the same amount twice.

28

Corporate and Institutional Purchases

If a company or institution purchases a program or training service, the purchase may be subject to a separate quotation, contract, or agreement.

Where a written agreement exists, its payment, cancellation, and refund terms apply to the commercial relationship to the extent permitted by law.

29

Legal Rights and Responsible Entities

This policy is not intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right applicable to the customer, that legal right takes priority to the extent required by law.
