Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce Premium gives each product variation its own gallery. When a shopper selects a color, size, style, finish, or another option, the gallery displays the images assigned to that variation.

Build galleries for each variation
Premium enables unlimited images per variation. Select images from the WordPress Media Library, add several at once with bulk upload, and drag images into the order you want. Use alternate angles, close-ups, or lifestyle photos to show the details of each option.
Add video to product galleries
Add YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted video alongside images in variation galleries. Premium also supports videos in simple, grouped, and external or affiliate product galleries. Set a featured video for variable, simple, grouped, or external and affiliate products. For variable products, a featured video can appear before a shopper selects an option. Video width and height settings help fit clips into the gallery layout.
When an embedded YouTube or Vimeo video loads, the shopper’s browser connects directly to that service, which may receive the shopper’s IP address, device and browser information, and viewing activity under its own privacy terms. The add-on stores the video URL in the website’s WordPress database and does not send customer, order, or store data to those services. Self-hosted videos do not connect to a video provider.
Set the gallery’s layout and behavior
Configure gallery width separately for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Place thumbnails to the left, right, or below the main picture. A thumbnail slider keeps a large set compact; select to show two to eight thumbnails at a time and adjust their spacing.
Other controls include automatic image slideshow with speed settings, slide or fade transitions, and navigation arrows for the main image and thumbnail slider. Customers can zoom in on the main image; zoom is enabled by default and can be turned off. The lightbox opens a larger image view, with its icon positioned at a chosen corner. You can also select a gallery preloader, conceal WooCommerce’s default featured image while a variation gallery is displayed, or disable the gallery for selected product types.
Setup and compatibility
Open a variable product’s settings and add images to each variation. Select images individually or in bulk, arrange their order, then configure the gallery display and video options. Preview the product page on desktop, tablet, and mobile to review the layout. A migration tool can import variation image data from supported gallery plugins, and gallery images are available through the WooCommerce REST API for headless stores and custom integrations.
The plugin is compatible with themes including Flatsome, OceanWP, Astra, Divi, Avada, Storefront, BeTheme, and Shopkeeper. A customized theme may need a small CSS adjustment. Setup instructions are available in the product documentation.
Premium is offered through yearly Starter, Business, and Developer plans, as well as lifetime license options. Plan feature differences are not specified here, and license pricing depends on the number of covered sites. Every Premium purchase includes one year of support and updates.
