Conditions determine when a shipping rule applies
Selectors cover product price, weight, dimensions, volume, shipping class, cart items and product groups. Premium includes volumetric values, combined dimensions, length plus girth, product categories and tags, user roles, cart totals, product-specific fields, dates, times, shipping zone regions and ZIP or postcode values. Seven date and time selectors include the day of the week, day of the month, year, full date and time-related conditions.
Use AND logic when every condition must match, or Premium's OR operator when alternative conditions can qualify. Range assistance supports price, quantity, volume, volumetric or dimension-based ranges.
Product grouping changes the calculation inputs
Choose whether products enter rule selectors without grouping, grouped by product ID or SKU, grouped across variations of the same product, grouped by shipping class, or combined into one group. The selected approach determines how products are counted and evaluated by the rules.
Matching rules control the shipping result
A rule can calculate a shipping cost, offer conditional free shipping or a flat rate, or disable the shipping method. Premium adds conditional rule skipping, the option to skip products on later rules, and advanced minimum or maximum calculations that can reset previous results. Volumetric calculations work with selectors and ranges, while user-role rules can set distinct costs or free shipping.
The Packer algorithm fits products into predefined shipping boxes. Other methods can be hidden, including methods from this add-on, native WooCommerce methods and third-party methods. Premium can apply coupons conditionally, rename methods, add subtitles or helper text, display custom messages as WooCommerce notices, add conditional order notes, and change cart total messages when no shipping settings are available. Mathematical expressions and formulas can also calculate shipping rates.
Currency and configuration options
Multicurrency support includes the official WooCommerce multi-currency plugin, WPML with WCML MultiCurrency, Aelia, WOOCS, Multi Currency for WC and WP Wham Currency Switcher. Exchange rates can handle conversion, or you can set custom shipping rates for each currency.
Use the setup wizard to choose from more than 60 ready-to-use samples or start with custom table rules. Import and export utilities can duplicate or move shipping method configurations between sites. Contextual help, documentation and a built-in log system help with rule setup and troubleshooting.
