Album Gallery Pro and Album Gallery Premium are paid editions for presenting photo, video, and mixed-media collections in WordPress. Visitors can browse albums in a responsive grid and open media in a lightbox.
Build an album for your media
Create a collection in the admin panel, upload images or add YouTube and Vimeo video URLs, pick a column layout and cover-image hover style, then publish. The grid adapts to desktop, tablet, and phone screens. Gutenberg blocks, an Elementor widget, and shortcodes let you place albums in pages and posts.
Hover designs include stack and overlay effects. Pulse and fade entrance animations, skeleton loaders, and a local lightbox with touch navigation are also available. The add-on loads its styles and scripts from your site, and it uses no external tracking.
Paid browsing and organization settings
- Display all albums with a global shortcode and pagination.
- Load more media with infinite scrolling or a button.
- Use the Pro lightbox for zoom, full-screen viewing, and social sharing.
- Give images unique direct links.
- Group media into filterable categories, then show selected categories with category shortcodes.
These options can organize a portfolio by project, collect event photos in separate albums, or present video playlists with responsive thumbnail previews.
Place and publish the collection
In the WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New, search for Album Gallery, then install and activate the plugin. Select Add New in the album area, add photos or video URLs, and publish the collection. Copy its shortcode into a page or post, or use the Gutenberg block or Elementor widget. For broader shows, use the global or category shortcode options available in the paid editions.
