API Starter Plan for Datafeedr Comparison Sets
Datafeedr Comparison Sets creates price comparison sets for WooCommerce products and for posts, pages, or other areas that support WordPress shortcodes. The plugin is for personal use and requires the Datafeedr API Plugin and an active API subscription. API Starter Plan and Basic Plan are listed for use with the extension; separate comparison-set functions for the two plans are not specified. Generating or updating one set requires between 2 and 6 API requests. Setup guidance suggests API Starter Plan subscribers consider the Basic Plan.

Choose where comparison sets appear
For WooCommerce products, open WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API > Comparison Sets > Integrations, enable WooCommerce, and save. A set is generated the first time a product is viewed after the integration is enabled. Enabling it does not immediately generate sets for every product.
For posts, pages, and other shortcode-enabled areas, create a set by product name, or by name and brand. For example, [dfrcs name="baratza encore"] uses a name, while [dfrcs name="j8006" brand="omega"] includes both name and brand. The shortcode also accepts product identifiers such as EAN, ASIN, and UPC, and supports a custom title. Use [dfrcs_wc] on WooCommerce single product pages.
Shortcodes can filter results by currency, Amazon locale, picture availability, sale status, direct URL availability, sale price, final price, merchant ID, or network ID. For example, filters="currency=USD&finalprice_max=400" limits results to USD products with a final price up to 400.
Prepare the API
Install and activate the Datafeedr API Plugin, then choose affiliate networks and merchants through it before configuring Comparison Sets.
Install and configure the plugin
Upload the datafeedr-comparison-sets folder to /wp-content/plugins/, then activate Datafeedr Comparison Sets through the WordPress Plugins menu. Configure it under WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API > Comparison Sets. To include Amazon products, open WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API > Configuration > Amazon Settings, enter the Amazon Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, Tracking ID, and Locale, and save. Then open WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API > Comparison Sets, change Cache Lifetime to 86400, and save. Choose WooCommerce integration or shortcode placement for your website.
