What the PRO upgrade adds
Appointment Booking PRO is the paid upgrade for the MotoPress Appointment Booking plugin. It extends a WordPress booking system for service businesses that schedule appointments, classes, consultations, and other activities. The system organizes services, categories, locations, and staff, with support for individual and group reservations.
Beauty salons, barbershops, teachers, therapists, medical professionals, fitness providers, consultants, and law firms can use a responsive booking form. Clients choose a service, date, available time, and number of people, then submit their reservation.
Payment and staff calendar options
The base booking workflow supports pay-on-website. PRO adds Direct Bank Transfer and PayPal, along with Stripe methods including Bancontact, iDEAL, Giropay, SEPA Direct Debit, SOFORT, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Administrators can also manage booking and payment details in the WordPress backend, including recording cash payments.
With PRO, site bookings can sync to employees’ Google Calendars. Clients can also opt to sync their own bookings to Google, Apple, Outlook, or Yahoo Calendars.
Customer records and email notices
Administrators can register clients manually from the site’s backend when a reservation comes in outside the public form or staff need to enter client details directly. PRO also allows more recipients for email notifications.
The notification system supports customizable messages to staff and clients, including confirmations, cancellations, reminders, custom event-driven emails, and notices about upcoming bookings. Staff can use client notes, booking comments, history, and statuses to maintain appointment records.
Set up and manage bookings
Configure services, locations, staff, capacities, and availability, then publish a booking form or an individual service calendar. Clients pick an available date and time, provide the requested information, and submit a booking. Staff can approve or deny bookings automatically or manually, reschedule appointments, edit client details, and process cancellations initiated by clients. Calendar views are available by month, week, and day.
To get started, install and activate the MotoPress Appointment Booking add-on in WordPress. Its setup wizard helps create a booking form. After upgrading to PRO, configure the additional payment gateways, connect employee Google Calendars, register customers through the backend when needed, and set notification recipients.
