Bulk Delete PRO is the paid edition of Bulk Delete. It processes groups of WordPress records that match your selected conditions. Depending on the operation, you can move matching posts or pages to the trash or delete them permanently. Scheduled deletion is available for supported post and page rules.
Set conditions for posts
Choose posts by category, tag, custom taxonomy, post type, comment count or URL. You can also select drafts, pending, private and scheduled posts. PRO includes filters for custom fields, titles, duplicate titles, content, attachment presence, posts in the trash, and posts by user or user role.
For supported post rules, narrow the matches by date, public or private visibility, or a maximum number of posts. Date filters select posts older or newer than a chosen number of days. Then select whether matches go to the trash or are permanently deleted, or schedule the supported cleanup.
Apply page, user and record rules
Page conditions cover published, draft, pending, private, scheduled and trashed pages. Supported page operations can be limited by date, visibility or quantity, and can use the available trash, permanent deletion or scheduling option.
- Users: select by role, user meta fields, last login period or registration date.
- Attachments: delete attachments with PRO.
- Revisions: delete post revisions.
- Meta fields: remove post, comment or user meta fields.
- Other add-on content: delete Jetpack Contact Form Messages.
Configure a cleanup
In the add-on’s administration settings, open the section for the record type you want to process. Set its condition, add available filters, and select a deletion method or schedule where offered. A rule limited by status, date, user relationship or record count helps target a specific group.
Items moved to the trash can be restored from there. Permanently deleted items cannot be retrieved through the plugin, so check the selected method before confirming an operation.
Install and activate Bulk Delete in WordPress, then configure the relevant deletion section. If a page goes blank while processing a very large number of posts, the source notes that a server with limited resources may be responsible; check the PHP error log for timeout or memory errors. PRO support is provided by email, while the free version uses the support forums.
