Shape RSS images for email and automation
Featured Images in RSS Premium extends Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More with advanced controls for images and content in WordPress RSS feeds. Use those feeds with email campaigns, marketing automation, and feed readers. WooCommerce product photos can also appear in product RSS feeds.
The base plugin lets you choose image sizes, set placement and adjust padding. Place an image above the text, wrap text to its left or right, or center it above the text. Image HTML also supports Feedly’s webfeedsFeaturedVisual class.
Choose how services receive images
- Media and enclosure tags: Add these tags for services that require them or for custom email templates. For advanced template designs, select media-tag images only to help address duplicate image output.
- Custom image sizes: Set the image show size used in RSS feeds.
- Body image fallback: If a post has no featured image, use its first body image.
- Responsive image output: Disable responsive images when a service has issues with the responsive image code, such as Mailchimp Preview.
Set rules for feed content
- Category exclusions: Keep selected categories, such as Homepage or Featured, out of the RSS feed.
- Custom content: Add text or HTML before or after posts, including backlinks or advertisements.
- Publish delay: Add a time buffer before new posts enter the RSS feed, leaving time to catch typos or accidental publication.
