Connect RSS sources to WordPress content

Feedzy Pro uses its Feed to Post workflow to import RSS items as editable WordPress posts, pages, or custom post types. Choose to publish items immediately or save them as drafts. Shortcodes, blocks, and widgets can also show feed material on your site.

Each import project can serve a different source, content type, or publishing workflow, and you can create unlimited projects. What gets imported depends on the feed items and the rules set for that project.

Filter items and control duplicates

Combine available conditions such as keywords, time ranges, and URLs to choose items for import. Title filters can include or exclude items based on whether a title contains a term, equals a value, or does not contain a term. A custom duplication key defines how Feedzy identifies unique items, helping control repeat imports across multiple feeds.

Set timing and entry limits

Automatic imports can run hourly, daily, or weekly with the default settings. For other timing, configure a custom cron schedule. You can also set how many items to fetch from each source during each run.

Imported items can include images, categories, and tags. When a feed item has no image, assign a fallback image for its presentation. The auto-delete option removes older imports after a set number of days, which can help keep time-sensitive content current.

Map feed data to WordPress

Assign imported posts to a specific author profile and map feed data to post excerpts or custom fields. Choose posts, pages, or a custom post type as the destination. The available source data and chosen WordPress structure determine which mappings are useful.

Set up an import project

Install the Feedzy RSS aggregator extension in WordPress, then open the Feed to Post workflow. Add an RSS source, select the destination, set filters and publishing options, and configure a Feedzy Pro schedule. Review mappings for images, categories, tags, excerpts, or custom fields before running the import.
