Set shipping rates around your store’s needs
Flat Rate Shipping Plugin Pro lets WooCommerce stores define different shipping methods for different orders. A method can depend on the destination, products in the cart, order totals, customer details, or other conditions. You can make multiple methods and use conditional rules to determine when each one appears and how its cost is calculated.
For example, a store can use location rules for country, state, postcode, or shipping zone, then create separate rules for products, categories, product tags, SKUs, or attributes such as size and color. User and user-role conditions are available too. Cart conditions can use quantity, weight, subtotal before or after discounts, coupons, shipping class, or payment method.
Build a method from its conditions to its rate
After installing the add-on, open its shipping settings and create a method. Choose the conditions that should apply, set the cost calculation, choose how the method should appear, and review it at checkout.
Methods can use fixed costs, percentage-based costs, or custom flat rates. Rates can be calculated per entry in the cart or per quantity of a specific product. The [QTY] parameter represents the total number of items in the cart, so a cost multiplied by [QTY] changes with the cart quantity.
Percentage rules can use the cart subtotal and set a minimum or maximum shipping charge. Positive amounts add shipping costs; negative amounts deduct them. You can set minimum and maximum values for product and category quantities, weights, and subtotals, as well as cart quantities, weight, subtotal, and shipping-class subtotal.
Control when methods apply and what clients see
Schedule methods by start and end date, day of the week, and time. Free shipping rules can use minimum order amounts or coupon order amounts. You can import and export shipping zones and methods, enable logging, delete existing methods from the backend, and clone configured table-rate methods.
When multiple methods apply, settings can let customers select, apply the smallest or highest cost, or force all applicable methods to be charged together. At checkout, methods can appear as radio buttons or a dropdown. You can set a default method, restrict a method to logged-in visitors, add tooltip descriptions, and enable or disable tax calculation for shipping.
