Share buttons and visitor prompts
The toolset included horizontal and floating share and follow buttons for Facebook, X, WhatsApp, email, and other networks. It also included native social buttons, reaction buttons, a Welcome Bar, and the Hello Buddy smart pop-up. Hello Buddy could prompt visitors to share, subscribe, or visit a selected page. Its triggers included time on the site, percentage of the page scrolled, and exit intention.
Mobile Share and Follow Buttons added mobile-only settings such as Telegram, Snapchat, Kik, and Viber. Image Share Buttons let visitors share pictures with friends and followers.
Customization and sharing activity
Paid customization controls covered colors, gradients, and other visual settings for supported tools, including horizontal and floating bars, Hello Buddy, mobile buttons, picture sharing, and reaction buttons.
Copy & Paste Share Tracking was designed to capture sharing through private channels, including SMS, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, and iMessage, as well as links copied and pasted. This added activity beyond interactions with visible social buttons. Paid accounts had a stated limit of 50,000 visits per month; accounts above that level were directed to support.
Setup and plan terms
When available, the documented setup flow began with installing the GetSocial add-on on a WordPress site. Users then opened their GetSocial account, selected Upgrade Plan, chose the TOOLS subscription, and entered billing details. They could configure the sharing, follow, reaction, pop-up, image, mobile, and tracking tools, then review the analytics dashboards and adjust how the tools appeared.
The described plan terms were $9 per month or $6.90 per month with annual billing. Cancellation was allowed at any time, with access continuing through the current monthly billing cycle. Subscriptions were stated to be nonrefundable, though credits could be granted at discretion.
