Customize the WordPress login screen
LoginPress Pro extends the LoginPress login customizer. Built on the WordPress Customizer API, LoginPress lets you preview layout changes as you work and adjust the page with visual controls, without writing code. The configured page is responsive for mobile devices and larger screens.
Control the page design
Logo settings cover the picture, width, height, bottom padding, hover title, and hover link. For the page background, pick an image or color, then set its position, size, and repeat behavior.
The login form can use an image or color, with controls for width, height, padding, and border. Input settings include width, margin, text color, label color, and background color. A WYSIWYG control adjusts the button color. The forgotten-password form has separate background image or color settings.
Set messages and footer text
Customize error messages for login, forgotten-password, registration, and password-reset forms. You can also edit the forgotten-password hint and create welcome messages.
Form footer settings include text, display, text decoration, text color, hover color, and text size. Page footer text can be customized as well.
Pro capabilities and related add-ons
LoginPress Pro includes selectable themes, Google Fonts, and Google reCAPTCHA. The LoginPress add-on collection also lists social login, login widgets, login redirects, limiting login attempts, customizing the login URL, and automatic login. Login Logout Menu is listed as a free add-on; the other listed add-ons include free and Pro options.
LoginPress works with translation and localization through its text domain and is WPML compatible.
Install and configure
Install the free LoginPress add-on first, then upload the Pro package. Pro capabilities are enabled after installation, and you do not need to configure the existing free-version options again. Open LoginPress settings and use the Customizer to preview and adjust the login page. Configure Pro options such as Google Fonts, Google reCAPTCHA, and selectable themes as needed.
