Popup Box Pro: WordPress Popups with Flexible Triggers

Popup Box Pro creates modal windows and overlays for WordPress sites. Choose a format for a signup, announcement, offer, embedded content or shop message, then set what opens it and which visitors see it.

Popup formats

Create custom HTML and shortcode popups, subscription and contact form popups, or file delivery after subscription. Other formats include Yes or No choices with custom actions and redirections; video, image, iframe, Facebook and Google Maps popups; countdowns, coupons, cookie notices, notifications and login forms; and WooCommerce product popups for products, coupons or store messages. Shortcodes can display content from other WordPress add-ons.

Appearance and audience rules

Choose from 5+ prebuilt themes, then adjust popup size, position, animations, colors, borders and typography. Custom CSS offers further styling control. Responsive behavior and a live preview help you review the styling. Rules can show popups on selected pages or post types, for logged-in customers or guests, and control mobile visibility.

Triggers and display controls

A page-load trigger opens a popup when the page finishes loading. A click trigger waits for a visitor to select a specified element, while exit intent can open one as a visitor is about to leave. Popup Box Pro also includes hover, inactivity, page-view-count and scroll-to-element triggers. Scheduling, close triggers, redirection and display limits let you set how a popup behaves over time.

Further targeting can restrict display by operating system, browser, country or user role. These conditions determine which visitors see a message; the selected trigger determines what visitor action opens it.

Free functions, integrations and reports

Popup Box Pro includes the free version's custom content and shortcode popups, video, image, Facebook and notification popups, along with its page-load and click triggers. The free version also includes popup themes, styling controls, page and post-type rules, responsive design and live preview.

Email integrations include MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, ConvertKit, Sendinblue and MailerLite. Reports let you review popup activity, and import and export utilities help manage popup configurations.
