Choose sources and place feeds
Open Reviews Feed in the WordPress dashboard, create a feed, and add a source. For Google, select the business using its Place ID; for Yelp, provide the business page. Choose a template, adjust the feed in the preview, then save and embed it with a shortcode or the Reviews Feed block. For example, the shortcode for the first feed is [reviews-feed feed=1]. You can place several feeds on one page or use them across different pages.
Adjust each feed’s width, height, review count, columns, text size, background color, and spacing. The layout adapts to different screen sizes. Visitors can expand review text, and a header can show the Google or Yelp listing’s overall rating with a button to leave a review. Reviews can appear in chronological or reverse chronological order.
Filter and curate reviews
Paid editions add filters for star ratings, keywords, and phrases, along with visual moderation for selecting which reviews appear. You can block reviews from specific visitors, highlight a Google or Yelp review, and add reviews manually. Other show settings include reviewer names, dates, ratings, and avatars. Yelp review images can open in a popup lightbox, and carousel layouts and preconfigured templates are available.
Custom collections let you group selected reviews for a particular feed. Paid editions also support collecting and displaying customer submissions through WPForms or Formidable Forms. These submissions are a separate capability from displaying reviews collected from Google, Yelp, and other review services.
Sources, translations, and updates
In addition to Google and Yelp, paid editions support review sources such as Trustpilot, Facebook, TripAdvisor, and the WordPress add-on directory. WooCommerce product reviews can be selected by product, category, or tag. WPML integration can display Google reviews in the site’s chosen language; you can also show supported translations without WPML or leave reviews untranslated.
After email verification, the free edition can display up to 10 recent reviews for one business without an API key. Adding your own API keys enables daily updates. Paid editions can display up to 50 initial Google and Yelp reviews and update multiple sources weekly without an API key.
