WP Author, Date and Meta Remover Pro+ lets you hide selected metadata or change how author, date, category, comment, and tag information appears. Use custom phrases to relabel details and icons or styling to adapt their presentation. Hiding a date or byline may suit evergreen business content where those details are not useful.

Set labels, icons, and classes

Use GIF, JPG, ICO, or PNG picture files as metadata icons. Any square image can serve as an icon, regardless of its size. You can create a custom WP ADMR Pro+ theme for a blog or business brand. Built-in tooltips and a training center are included.

Multiple class div tags let you personalize or remove metadata, and dot notation lets you combine classes.

Theme integration and behavior

Pro+ uses jQuery and Ajax for WordPress theme integration. Its description says it works with free and premium themes, can override metadata options in a premium theme’s special ePanel, and can show author, date, category, comment, and tag information when a theme does not include it by default.

The base remover’s author-removal method uses a CSS file linked in the page header, so a child theme is not required for that purpose. Theme structures vary, and the CSS-based approach may not work with every theme.
