Connect WordPress publishing to Telegram
WP Telegram Pro connects a WordPress site with Telegram for automated post delivery and selected email notifications. Choose what gets sent, set the destinations, and configure message formatting through the plugin’s modules.
Choose content, destinations, and rules
The Post to Telegram module can send posts when they are published or updated. Messages can go to a channel, group, supergroup, or private chat, with support for multiple channels and chats. Route posts to various channels by category, tag, author, or post type.
The module supports WooCommerce products and other custom post types. Select which post types to include, and whether to send new posts, existing posts, or both. Custom rules can filter content by author, category, tag, post format, or custom taxonomy term. You can override settings for an individual post from its edit page, and include custom fields or custom taxonomy terms in messages.
Format and schedule messages
Create reusable message templates with emojis and conditional logic. Include a featured image alongside the message text or send only the image. Scheduled and future posts are supported, and messages can be delayed by a specified interval. Add an inline button that links to the post URL. Unlimited reaction buttons are supported.
Deliver private notifications
WP Telegram Pro can send email notifications through Telegram. Supported sources include WooCommerce order notifications, Contact Form 7, and notifications from other add-ons. Its integration with WP Telegram Login lets users connect their Telegram account. Users can also enter their Telegram Chat ID on the relevant page.
Configure a proxy when hosting blocks Telegram
The Proxy module can help bypass a hosting block by connecting through a proxy. Options include a Cloudflare worker proxy with file upload support, a custom Google Script proxy, and PHP-compatible proxy types: HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, and SOCKS5_HOSTNAME. Select which proxy type to use for the connection.
Set up the plugin
Install WP Telegram Pro on the WordPress website, open its settings, enter the bot details, then configure the modules you need. To create a bot, use @BotFather and the /newbot command, then enter the Bot Token Telegram delivers in the plugin settings. Private channels and groups require the appropriate chat ID.
Set destinations, templates, rules, notifications, and proxy settings as needed, then test the configuration before regular publishing or notifications. Administrators can extend the plugin with custom code through actions and filters. It is also translation ready.
