Organize files for WordPress
BSK PDF Manager Pro helps administrators organize and display PDFs and other files on WordPress sites. Supported formats include PDF, ZIP, GZ, RAR, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIF, TIFF, SWF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, CSV, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files.
Group files by category for a resource library, client documents, or downloadable materials, or select an individual document to display.
Choose what appears on a page
Each PDF or document can have its own permalink. Share that address with clients, then update the document version while retaining its location. Add the add-on’s shortcode to a page or post where users should find a category, file link, or document display.
PDF viewing and file links
When PDF.js viewing is enabled, BSK PDF Manager uses Mozilla’s PDF.js to display a PDF in the user’s browser after they click its link. The described viewing experience covers PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Other supported files can be managed and displayed as file links.
Pro tools for document listings
Assign featured pictures to PDFs or other documents, and generate thumbnails from PDF files for more visual listings. Administrators can also receive notifications and bulk add files through FTP or the WordPress media area.
These tools support different collection needs: categories group files, individual selection controls what appears, and bulk adding can bring in files already available through FTP or the media area.
Installation and setup
Install BSK PDF Manager Pro in WordPress, add or bulk add the files to manage, then organize them by category or as individual documents. Configure featured images, PDF thumbnails, notifications, or PDF.js viewing as needed. Add the add-on shortcode to the page or post where the file link or document display should appear.
