Bulletin Pro extends Bulletin, an announcement bar plugin for WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores. Use bulletins for sale offers, shop notices, event countdowns, emergency updates, cookie notices, product updates, or news about a new site section.

The base Bulletin add-on supports unlimited bulletins, markdown and emoji, Customizer options, and desktop and mobile messages. Its show and design settings include a header bar, a floating bar at the bottom of the screen, a sticky footer, background and text colors, content width, text alignment, and font size. Pro adds further placement, targeting, timing, interaction, and styling options.

Choose placement and appearance

Pro adds a corner display type. Custom icons, Google Fonts, and CSS for each bulletin let you adjust its appearance. Custom CSS can address layout conflicts, such as a bulletin overlapping a fixed header.

Set audience and timing

Show a bulletin on selected pages or use URL and user conditions, including a setting for logged-in customers. WordPress Network support lets you specify a bulletin to display across all subsites. For time-sensitive notices, set a live countdown, schedule when a bulletin appears, and set when it expires.

A dismissal option adds a close icon and lets you select how long the bulletin stays hidden for a visitor.

Add actions and multiple messages

Add a button that links to another destination or triggers a JavaScript event. Button effects are also available. A single bulletin can contain multiple messages that rotate in sequence or execute in a marquee style.

Set up a bulletin

1. Install Bulletin in WordPress and activate the Pro edition.
2. Create a bulletin and enter its message.
3. Choose its display position, colors, typography, icon, and optional button.
4. Set any additional messages, display conditions, schedule, countdown, expiry, or dismissal options you need.
5. Preview the bulletin. Adjust its CSS if it overlaps another interface element.

Normal setup does not require coding. If the bulletin conflicts with the active theme or another interface element, custom CSS may be needed. A Pro license includes automatic updates and priority support.
