Conditional Payments for WooCommerce Pro
Conditional Payments for WooCommerce Pro applies rules to payment methods already used by your store, including built-in and third-party options such as PayPal, Stripe, and Cash on Delivery. You can conceal a method when its conditions are met or show it only when the conditions are satisfied.
Control which payment methods checkout offers
Conditional Payments for WooCommerce Pro applies rules to payment methods already used by your store, including built-in and third-party options such as PayPal, Stripe, and Cash on Delivery. You can conceal a method when its conditions are met or show it only when the conditions are satisfied.
For example, a shipping method condition can limit Cash on Delivery to orders using Local pickup. A billing company condition can make Invoice available to business customers and help prevent private customers from ordering with it.
Choose conditions for showing or hiding methods
Rules can check products, order subtotal, shipping method, and billing or shipping address fields. Pro adds conditions for:
- Coupons and currency
- Stock status, including in-stock entries and backorders
- Shipping class and product category
- Logged-in or logged-out status, visitor role, and groups
- Language through Polylang or WPML
These criteria let you set checkout rules around the order, customer, and shipping details relevant to each payment method.
Add fees when payment conditions apply
Pro includes the free features and lets you apply payment method fees conditionally. A fee can depend on the supported order, customer, shipping, product, or other conditions in your rules.
Review rule behavior with debug mode
Debug mode helps troubleshoot conditional payment behavior during setup, including cases where a method is not appearing or being restricted as expected.
Install the extension and configure rules
Install the add-on from the WordPress admin panel by going to Plugins, selecting Add New, then Upload Plugin. Choose and upload the plugin ZIP file, then activate it. Configure rulesets under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Conditions. Choose whether each method should be hidden or shown when its conditions are met, and add conditional fees where needed. Use debug mode to review behavior while configuring the rules.
