Image Source Control Premium for WordPress Image Credits
Image Source Control Premium helps site owners manage image sources, copyright holders, licenses, captions, and AI-generated image details across WordPress content, galleries, featured images, archive pages, Media Library files, and selected block or builder contexts.
Connect image records to credit shows
Image Source Control Premium helps site owners manage image sources, copyright holders, licenses, captions, and AI-generated image details across WordPress content, galleries, featured images, archive pages, Media Library files, and selected block or builder contexts.
Choose how credits appear
Show sources below page content, add a list manually, or embed a complete credit list with thumbnails. Per-page lists can be attached automatically or added with a shortcode or PHP function. Sources can also appear on archive pages. Caption overlays can sit above or below an image, with controls for layout and position. Display the full source or reveal it after a click or mouseover.
Credit lists can cover images in content, galleries, shortcode-based images, and featured images. Link to the copyright holder and, where applicable, the image license.
Manage sources, licenses, and AI details
- Add multiple links to a source string and manage credits for images hosted outside the Media Library, including images without file extensions.
- Manage, show, and link available licenses. IPTC copyright metadata can appear in the backend and serve as a standard frontend source.
- Mark images as AI, AI-generated, or AI-manipulated with an icon. For AI descriptions, display an icon alone or add description text in the image source field.
Maintain and review image records
Add credits to Media Library image files and use dedicated source fields for Image, Cover Image, Featured Image, and Media & Text blocks. Assign a centrally defined source, hide sources for selected images, show a specific source such as your name, or use the uploader’s name. Missing-source warnings help identify incomplete records.
The Indexer searches published content for images in one operation. Premium can list credits for images outside the content, show image usage in image details and the Media Library List view, bulk-edit copyright information, and preview credits. For images without a selected source, it can display a standard picture credit. Filter the Media Library to find images with or without sources, or images using the standard source.
Configure global lists and supported contexts
Choose which data appears in the Global List, limit it to images with a proper source, and display it as a table or simple list. Premium works with Elementor background images, images in Kadence Blocks Galleries, and Kadence Related Content Carousel. Developer options are available for overlay captions on CSS background images.
Installation
Install Image Source Control Premium in WordPress alongside the Image Source Control workflow. Add source details to Media Library files, then configure how credits, captions, licenses, and AI labels should appear. Review the available frontend and backend options before publishing image credits.
