Lazy Blocks Pro adds logic and styling to WordPress blocks

Lazy Blocks Pro extends Lazy Blocks for building custom blocks in the WordPress editor. Set a block’s name, icon, and category, add controls for its content, then define the output with custom HTML, PHP, Handlebars, or a template file in the theme folder. Blocks can be exported and imported for reuse, and controls can create custom meta fields for selected post types.

Choose fields for content and relationships

Pro controls help editors select related content or enter structured values. The Posts control searches for posts by post type or taxonomy. Taxonomy searches categories, tags, and other custom taxonomies, while Users searches for customers by role.

Units adds a number input with CSS unit choices. Message displays guidance between controls, and Code Editor inserts code parts with syntax highlighting. These sit alongside controls for common content such as text, images, galleries, and choices.

Arrange the editor and block assets

Control conditions display or conceal fields according to the values of other controls. Panels and dividers group fields in the block settings. With Styles & Scripts, add CSS for the editor or frontend and JavaScript for interactive frontend behavior. Assets load only when needed. Blocks Preloading displays block previews after the page editor loads.

Templates, analysis, and translation

The older Templates capability supports post templates with predefined blocks and remains functional on existing sites. It is deprecated for future use; new website templates can be built with WordPress’s native Template Editor. Theme template files remain an output option for custom blocks.

Lazy Blocks Pro adds support for content analysis in Rank Math and Yoast SEO. Its text controls are compatible with WPML and ready for translation. Developers can tailor custom blocks from the backend with PHP filters and actions.

For a new block, configure its identity, add the controls editors need, choose an output method, then preview it in the editor. Add conditions, panels, styles, or scripts as the block requires.
