Place PDF documents in WordPress
PDF Poster Pro adds viewer and reading controls to PDF Poster embeds in WordPress posts, pages, widgets, and templates. Use it to show brochures, eBooks, business documents, reports, portfolios, menus, catalogues, and other PDFs for readers on the page.
Create a PDF Poster document, configure its viewer and settings, then add it with a Gutenberg block, the [pdf_embed] shortcode, or the classic editor. Responsive sizing delivers independent width and height settings for desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.
Viewer options and reading controls
The Adobe PDF viewer uses the Adobe PDF Embed API and includes Adobe viewing modes such as lightbox. Continuous Scroll shows every page in one uninterrupted scroll, which can fit long reports and other extended documents.
Reader Mode displays the document without the toolbar or surrounding frame. You can enable a thumbnail sidebar and set whether it opens by default. Initial page and default zoom settings control where and how large the document appears when opened. For wide documents, set horizontal scrolling as the default or hide the right toolbar to reduce viewer controls.
Branding and interface settings
Logo watermarking can place a logo across every page. Add the logo alone or with text, then pick the Brand Corner, Logo Wash, or Logo Adsheet theme. Rename the download and full-screen button labels, choose whether full-screen view opens in a new tab, and place the action bar above or below the viewer.
Imports, presets, and activity history
Import PDFs using the Google Drive picker or Dropbox, or upload them from your computer. The preset library saves a block’s complete configuration for reuse across the site. When you replace a file, its latest version can load in every embed without relinking each placement.
Analytics history and trends cover PDF activity. PDF Poster records daily views and downloads in your WordPress database; the supplied product details state that it uses no third-party service and stores no IP address. Content protection is also listed among the Pro capabilities.
