Copy Delete Post Premium duplicates WordPress pages and posts for reuse, comparison, or editing. Make a copy in one click, or open the copy options to choose which content to include, such as text paragraphs, pictures, video, featured images, and supported third-party extension information. Pages built with page builders can retain their custom settings. You can also copy a page with its child pages, using the settings applied to the parent.

Premium supports Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for native WordPress pages and posts that follow WordPress standards. It can also replicate pages across WordPress multisite installations.

Start and configure a copy

Copy controls are available on the All Pages and All Posts screens, individual edit screens, the admin bar, bulk actions, and in the Gutenberg editor. A copy started from an edit screen can open in a new browser tab. You can conceal controls in selected locations, set which WordPress visitor roles may copy content, and choose whether pages, posts, custom post types, or all of these can be copied.

Set a naming pattern for copies using a date or time, an incremental counter, or other descriptive text. You can also choose where to go after copying and whether to show a reference to the original entry. Premium configuration sets let you switch between copy setups without returning to the settings page, then export or import those sets for use across multiple sites.

Find and remove duplicates

To review duplicates, choose which content types to scan and what should count as a match, such as the same title, slug, excerpt, or word count. Select whether to keep the oldest item or the newest copy. The scanner can show matching items and their URL or slug for a visual check; use its search box to narrow the results before cleanup.

Delete selected duplicates in bulk during manual cleanup. Premium also supports automatic deletion, which can help when content is copied at higher volumes, and automatic redirects for deleted pages or posts. Deletion can be throttled for a slow server. The deletion code is optimized, though processing time can still depend on server conditions.

For a server load test, you can duplicate up to 1,000 pages and observe server behavior. The results depend on the server.
