Choose how people respond
Poll Maker includes choosing, rating, and voting formats. Rating polls can use stars or emojis; voting polls can use like or dislike responses or emojis. Pro adds dropdown selections, a range from 1 to 100, versus comparisons between two people or products, and open text responses. A Pro setting can also let participants submit a custom answer, and multivote can allow more than one selection.
Write and format questions in the WordPress classic editor. Add image, video, or audio content, or include a shortcode from another add-on in the question area.
Configure participation and styling
Participation settings include anonymous polls, password protection, and access limits for logged-in users or selected WordPress visitor roles. Pro also includes an information form with custom fields such as name, email, or phone.
Choose from seven ready-made themes, four of which are available in Pro. More than 30 style options let you adjust elements such as colors, pictures, borders, and backgrounds.
Review poll responses
Live results show how responses change as people vote. Pro can display results in charts and export results to CSV. Bar, pie, and column charts are available for presenting poll results.
- Gather customer feedback about products, services, or site experiences.
- Ask about audience preferences and interests with opinion polls.
- Run market research and review response patterns.
- Use image, video, or audio questions to invite preference-based responses.
Create and publish a poll
In the Polls area, add a poll, choose its type, enter the question and answers, and configure its settings and design. Save the poll, copy its generated shortcode, such as [ays_poll id='your_poll_id'], and insert it into a WordPress post or page. Publish that page to make the poll available to visitors.
