Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro: Catalog Sorting

Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro: Catalog Sorting

Choose which products appear first

Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro lets you set product order on the main Shop page and in category and sub-category displays. Arrange products one by one or select several to move together. Custom arrangements also work in product displays that use WooCommerce shortcodes. WooCommerce must be installed and activated, and you can use the extension without coding knowledge.

Build an order or apply a sorting rule

Manual ordering gives you control over a specific sequence. For a full catalog or a selected category, Smart Sort applies one rule in a single action. Choose from:

  • Best-selling products
  • Most-rated products
  • Price from low to high or high to low
  • In-stock products first
  • Latest or oldest products
  • Products on sale
  • Shuffle for a randomized display

These methods let you move top sellers, reviewed products, available items, new arrivals, sale products, or another selected group into a preferred position.

Keep alternate arrangements as presets

Save an arrangement as a named preset and add a description. Apply it with one click when you want to change the display, or duplicate it to make a variation. Search and filter presets to find one quickly. Presets work with global and category-specific arrangements, so you can prepare layouts for seasonal displays, holiday promotions, flash sales, or product-order comparisons.

Transfer arrangements between sites

Export global arrangements, category arrangements, or presets as JSON documents. When you import a file on another website, products are matched by SKU to support cross-site compatibility. Import reports list matched, skipped, and total products. Files up to 10MB are supported. You can use exports to move arrangements to a new domain or staging environment, or share them with your team.

Install and check the product display

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
  2. Install and activate Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro.
  3. Open the extension’s product-ordering controls and arrange products manually, use Smart Sort, or create a preset.
  4. Apply the arrangement to the Shop or relevant category, then review the display.

If custom ordering does not appear on the Shop page, set WooCommerce Product Catalogue’s Default Product Sorting to Default sorting (custom ordering + name). Page builders may use their own product-query settings. If changes do not save for a large catalog, server limits such as memory_limit and max_execution_time may need attention from your hosting provider.

Deactivating the plugin turns off saved rearrangements until you reactivate it. Deleting or uninstalling the plugin permanently removes those rearrangements.
