Apply zoom to the images you use

WP Image Zoom Pro adds magnification to images in WordPress posts and pages, WooCommerce and SureCart products, portfolios, Easy Digital Downloads featured images, and MarketPress content. Apply the effect through the editor or to suitable page-builder images. Builder guidance covers Gutenberg, WPBakery, SiteOrigin, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, Avia, Fusion, Brizy, and Tatsu. For page-builder images, add the zoooom CSS class. The effect is intended for Image components; Pro also supports zooming images in galleries.

Choose a zoom style and controls

Select inner zoom, a round lens, a square lens, or outer zoom with a separate Zoom Window. Place the window to the left or right of the image; it adjusts to the browser width. Pro zoom levels can be set to 2x or 3x the displayed image size.

Visitors can use the mousewheel to inspect an image. Animation easing makes the lens follow the pointer with a delay, and a fade effect controls how the enlarged area appears and disappears. Settings include lens size, border color and size, shadow, and rounded corners.

Check image size and gallery behavior

Magnification requires an uploaded image larger than the version displayed on the site. The add-on adds zoom to the existing product gallery; it does not replace that gallery. Lightboxes and carousels are supported, though results can depend on how a theme implements its gallery, carousel, or slider. Check the effect with your theme, layout, and image sizes before publishing.

Set up the zoom

Install WP Image Zoom Pro in WordPress and choose the zoom type and visual settings in its administration interface. Apply zoom through the editor, add the zoooom class to suitable page-builder images, or configure supported product and gallery content. Test the result with the lightbox or carousel used on your website.
