Build Advanced WordPress Carousels with WP Carousel Pro

Choose a layout

WP Carousel Pro extends WP Carousel’s block editor and classic shortcode builder with more ways to arrange content. Pro adds Masonry and Justified layouts, Panorama Carousel, and a continuously scrolling Marquee or Ticker. The 3D Carousel includes Cylinder, Card Stack, and Orbit styles alongside Coverflow. You can also use multi-row, vertical, variable-width, and partial-view carousels, six additional Tiles layouts, and a custom layout editor.

WP Carousel includes blocks for carousels, sliders, grids, tiles, and synchronized thumbnail sliders. Ready-made patterns and saved templates help you start a design or reuse one across pages, widgets, and page builders.

Select the content

Use pictures from the WordPress media library, posts, pages, custom post types, WooCommerce products, and YouTube or Vimeo videos. Pro adds audio from SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, or your own files. It can also create feeds from RSS, a YouTube channel, or a Facebook page. In the classic builder, combine content types or add slides with custom HTML and shortcodes.

For posts and products, filter by category, tag, author, date, sale status, best-selling status, or top rating, and exclude selected posts. Add category filter buttons or live Ajax search so visitors can narrow the displayed entries. Load More and infinite scroll provide more ways to view larger sets.

Video galleries can use TikTok, Twitch, TED, Dailymotion, Rumble, Wistia, SproutVideo, embed code, or self-hosted and MP4 videos. Pro supports inline playback with muted autoplay, play on hover, and looping. For images, edit titles, captions, descriptions, and alt text individually or in bulk, and set a focal point to guide picture crops.

Set how visitors browse

Control autoplay speed, pause on hover, looping, slide direction, navigation, and pagination. Visitors can move through items with touch swipe, mouse drag, mouse wheel, free scroll, or keyboard navigation. Set how many slides move per click for each device size.

The lightbox opens images and videos in a popup gallery. Pro adds slideshow, zoom, fullscreen, download, sharing, and captions. You can also link an image, apply hover and content animations, use image filters, or select premium slider styles with WebGL shader effects.

Fit the carousel to your site

Set columns and spacing for desktop, tablet, and mobile, and conceal a carousel at selected device sizes. Classic carousels can use custom breakpoints. The add-on lazy-loads images, supports keyboard navigation, and lets you choose heading levels for card titles.

Use native widgets and modules for Elementor, Divi 4 and Divi 5, WPBakery, Oxygen, Beaver Builder, or Bricks. Shortcodes work in other page builders. WPML and Polylang support multilingual sites, and the plugin works across a WordPress multisite network.

Build and reuse a show

Start with a ready-made pattern, use the AI builder, or configure a block or classic shortcode carousel. Choose a layout and content source, adjust its display and navigation settings, then place it on a page or in a supported builder. The AI builder requires a provider API key or a connection through WordPress Connectors. Saved templates let you reuse designs in other placements.

Pro also includes image watermarking, an option to block right-click saving, password protection for a carousel, and date-based scheduling to show it within a specified period.
