Choose a Cash App payment method

Checkout with Cash App on WooCommerce PRO, also known as WooCash, adds two payment options to WooCommerce checkout. Cash App Link shows your store’s $cashtag and redirects customers to complete their transaction in Cash App. Its settings can also show your Cash App name, email address and phone number.

Cash App Pay uses an end-to-end API integration connected to a Square merchant account. The account requirement depends on the method: Cash App Link requires a Cash App account, while Cash App Pay requires a Square merchant account.

Order updates after payment

PRO works with automated order status updates from on-hold to processing when the order amount is received. For Cash App Link payments, emailreceipts.io can track payments and update order statuses automatically. It can also send customers an email when an order status changes. Without emailreceipts.io, update the order status manually in WooCommerce.

Set up the checkout option

Install and activate the extension in WordPress, then open its settings. For Cash App Link, enter the relevant Cash App details, such as your $cashtag. For Cash App Pay, configure the Square merchant connection. Enable the payment method you want to offer and review the checkout flow before making it available to customers.
