Set responsive layouts in Gutenberg
Adjust breakpoint settings while editing a page. Alongside mobile, tablet, and desktop views, the breakpoint system supports six additional custom breakpoints for mobiles, desktops, laptops, tablets, wide screens, and landscape mode. These controls let you adapt blocks and layouts to different screen sizes. GutenKit is described as responsive across devices and tested for cross-browser compatibility.
Arrange sections and menus
The full-width flexible container supports inline editing for page sections. Motion animation effects add movement to blocks, while copy-and-paste styles apply an existing styling treatment to other blocks.
The Mega Menu Builder makes multi-dimensional dropdown menus with submenus. Link submenu items to existing pages, or add menu items that are saved as draft pages. Menu items can also use blocks such as containers, carousels, and tabs.
Show posts and dynamic values
Use the Query Loop Builder to show WordPress posts and filter them by post type, taxonomy, meta query, date query, author, post status, and other criteria. Dynamic Content can insert post tags, site titles, author names, and user information through block settings. Set a fallback value to display default content when the selected data is unavailable.
The Display Conditions module controls block visibility according to configured criteria, so content appears when those conditions are met.
Start with templates and load selected assets
Templates and patterns provide starting points for page and website layouts. GutenKit states that each page loads CSS and JavaScript for the blocks used there, and that icons load individually rather than as a full library. Google Fonts load locally, and the product supports Block API Version 3.
Choose blocks, modules, or a template in the Gutenberg editor, arrange them with flexible containers, then adjust responsive settings. Add query-based displays, dynamic content, menus, or display conditions as needed before refining and publishing the layout.
