Controls for Contact Form 7 Pro
When a visitor submits a Contact Form 7 form, Controls for Contact Form 7 Pro can redirect them to a specified URL and record form activity. Open a form’s Controls tab in the WordPress administration area to configure its available settings. Some settings work at page level and affect every Contact Form 7 form displayed on that page; disabling AJAX submissions for one form, for example, disables them for the other forms on that page.

Track form events across analytics platforms
Tracking integrations include Google Analytics 4, Google Tag using gtag.js, Google Tag Manager, Matomo (formerly Piwik), and Facebook Pixel. Events use Contact Form as the category and can identify actions as Submit, Sent, Error, or Spam. The form title is passed as the event title.
For Facebook Pixel, the standard Contact event uses the event type as content_category and the form title as content_name.
Adjust front-end form behavior
Along with setting a redirect URL, you can disable AJAX form submissions, remove Contact Form 7’s default CSS, or disable automatic paragraph formatting. The controls also let you enable native WordPress shortcodes in form content, disable HTML5 input field types or enable the HTML5 input type fallback, and specify a Google reCAPTCHA language.
Choose where submissions are stored
Use Storage for Contact Form 7 to record submissions, including attachments, in the WordPress database and export entries as CSV. Alternatively, the basic TablePress integration lets you pick a table for submissions. The addon adds columns for form fields when they are missing, then appends each entry as a row. It also records the submission time in ISO 8601 format and the URL where the form was submitted.
Configure a form
- Install the addon alongside Contact Form 7.
- Open a form in the WordPress administration area.
- Use its Controls tab to set redirects, tracking, form behavior, or storage.
- For submission storage, set up Storage for Contact Form 7 or choose a TablePress table.
Tracking and redirect features require Contact Form 7 version 4.3 or later. Check page-level effects before changing a setting that may apply to every form displayed on the same page.
