Checkout controls for digital products
Digital Goods for WooCommerce Checkout Pro is designed for stores selling downloadable and virtual products. These purchases may not need the billing and shipping information used for physical goods, so the extension lets store owners remove selected checkout fields and offer quick checkout.
It works with WooCommerce downloads and virtual products such as ebooks, audio files, video files, images, Excel documents, PDF documents, MS Word documents, and other downloadable content.
Quick checkout scope and placement
The paid edition includes the capabilities available in the free version, including quick checkout for downloadable and virtual products. Enable or disable the quick checkout button, then apply it to all digital products or limit it to selected categories or tags.
- Place the button on the shop page.
- Display it on product details and single product pages.
- Insert the checkout process directly into a product page.
For download products, remove unnecessary checkout fields, exclude multiple fields, and choose whether to exclude the order note.
Rules and post-payment options
Category and tag rules let stores with mixed catalogs limit quick checkout to selected parts of the catalog. User-role restrictions control which clients see the quick checkout button.
The paid edition also lets customers fill in additional fields after payment and supports delayed account creation for a checkout flow that keeps the initial purchase focused.
Installation and setup
Install the paid add-on through the WordPress administration area and activate it. Open the plugin settings, enable quick checkout, and choose where the button should appear. Then choose the fields to remove or exclude and configure product, category, tag, and user-role rules as needed.
Review the settings with representative downloadable and virtual products before making the checkout flow available to customers. If your store uses additional fields, decide whether customers should complete them after payment.
