Schedule events and handle exceptions

Create one-time events or recurring schedules over a specified time range. Events can last for an arbitrary period, and recurrence rules can describe patterns such as the third Tuesday of every fourth month or the sixteenth day of every month. Add or remove specific dates when a schedule changes, or delete one occurrence when a single date is cancelled. Expired events can be removed automatically as an option.
Assign venues and choose public shows
Venue records include a full content editor and Google Maps support. Venue pages can show events assigned to that location. Colour-coded categories help visitors distinguish event types. Public event pages can use pretty permalinks, with archive pages for years, months, and days.
Widgets provide a calendar, event list, and agenda. Lists can be limited by quantity, category, or venue. Shortcodes offer similar displays, including a full calendar with category and venue filters, an event list, an agenda, and a venue map. Month, week, and day calendar views are available where the relevant shortcode supports them.
Publish feeds and manage access
Visitors can subscribe to public event feeds or feeds for a particular venue or category, using Google or Webcal links. Events can also be imported from and exported to ICAL documents. Relative date queries can request events that finished recently or events beginning within a future period.
Custom permissions set which WordPress roles can make, edit, or delete events and manage venues. Developer functions extend familiar post functions to output details such as an event's start date and time or venue. The custom post type follows the WordPress template hierarchy, and default templates can be overridden for theme-specific presentation.
Set up the event catalogue
Install Event Organiser Pro on the WordPress site used to manage events. Create venues, add event details, define schedules, and assign categories or tags. Place calendars, lists, agendas, maps, or subscription links on website pages with widgets and shortcodes. Review permissions and public archive pages before publishing the schedule.
