Flexible Shipping UPS PRO: Configure WooCommerce UPS Rates

Flexible Shipping UPS PRO adds UPS live rates and shipping options to WooCommerce checkout. It connects to the UPS API, using cart weight and the shipping address to calculate rates for available services.

What clients can pick

Stores can enable UPS Access Point delivery. When enabled, the add-on can suggest nearby locations for a customer's address and save the selected point to the order. You can also set a flat rate for Access Point delivery.

How packing is configured

For orders with multiple products, automatic box packing uses product weight and volume to help calculate shipping requirements. You can define custom boxes with their own weight and padding, then choose from several box packing methods.

Rate and delivery settings

Apply fixed-value or percentage handling fees and discounts to UPS rates. Other controls include negotiated rates, service limitations, insurance, fallback costs if the UPS API connection has problems, and a free shipping threshold. Multi-currency support works through WooCommerce currency switcher add-ons. Delivery Confirmation is also available.

The plugin can show estimated delivery dates at checkout. Advanced estimates can account for maximum transit time, cutoff times, and lead time. You can exclude specific days of the week and set destination address types for more specific date handling.

Supported services include UPS Express, UPS Standard, UPS Worldwide Expedited, UPS Worldwide Express Plus, UPS Worldwide Saver, UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS Next Day Air, UPS Simple Rate, SurePost services, UPS Worldwide Express Freight, and UPS Worldwide Express Freight Midday.

Connect with one-click OAuth authorization using a UPS account and the REST API, or use a UPS Access Key with the XML API.

Setup and related utilities

Install and activate the Flexible Shipping UPS plugin and its PRO edition in WooCommerce. Connect to UPS, then configure services, packing methods, boxes, Access Points, fees, and delivery date settings. Review the available options at checkout before making the shipping method available to customers.

The plugin is compatible with the UPS Labels extension, which can create shipments, generate printable UPS shipping labels, and track parcels from WooCommerce. Priority email support is included with the PRO upgrade.
