PublishPress Series Pro

PublishPress Series Pro organizes related WordPress content into ordered series for magazine issues, newspaper topics, lesson sequences, or continuing stories. Add content to a series while editing, or start a new one. Insert a part in the middle and the extension adjusts the order.

Choose the content and series structure

Series Pro supports posts, pages, and custom post types, including mixed sequences that use more than one content type. A post can belong to multiple series, so the same article or lesson can appear in various collections. Editors can filter the posts list by series and give each series its own image. Pro also lets you group series and delivers extra tokens for customizing series templates.

Set the release order

The Publish Series screen collects posts connected to a series. Editors can reorder parts, schedule them, publish them, or unpublish them as a group. This screen is available in both the free and Pro versions, and it can help manage a sequence prepared for release over time.

Give readers series context

• Series Post List Boxes show the parts in a series, with settings for titles, featured pictures, authors, and publishing dates.
• Series Post Details show a post's position, such as part 3 of 8 in a named series.
• Series Post Navigation links to the previous and next parts.

Pro shortcodes, including [series_post_list_box], [series_nav], [series_meta], and [publishpress_series_categories], let you place series information at a chosen point in post content. The Pro edition also adds tokens for series templates.

The extension includes Series Table of Contents and Latest Series widgets. With PublishPress Blocks installed, its Content Display block can show content from a selected series with additional layout options.
