Responsive Tabs Pro for WordPress Tabs
Responsive Tabs Pro groups related content into tab sets for WordPress pages and posts. Choose horizontal, vertical, or accordion layouts, with scrollable horizontal tabs available in Pro. Add a set through the Responsive Tabs block in Gutenberg or use its shortcode. Shortcodes inside tab content can render items such as forms, sliders, and galleries with their required scripts and styles.

How layouts adapt to available space
When a standard horizontal tab row overflows, its extra tabs move into a “More” menu. Pro’s scrollable horizontal tabs support drag-to-scroll and left and right arrow buttons. Vertical tabs automatically switch to an accordion on mobile screens.
Pro includes four visual styles: Boxed, Underline/Line, Pill/Segmented, and Contained/Boxed. These options fit different tab presentations, while color settings cover borders, backgrounds, tab text, active text, and content text.
Tab sets and their controls
The free version allows up to three tab sets, with unlimited tabs in each set. Pro removes the tab set limit and lets you add, edit, reorder, and delete tabs from the Gutenberg block. You can also preview a set, duplicate or clone it, and update tab order in bulk.
- Add Font Awesome icons to tab headings with the searchable icon picker and live previews.
- Apply additional custom CSS to an individual tab set.
- Set a tab to open an external URL instead of showing content.
- Use a URL parameter such as ?selected_tab=2 to open a particular tab.
Adding a set to a page
Create a tab set, add its tabs and content, set their order and colors, then insert the set with the Gutenberg block or its shortcode. Tab sets can organize FAQs, product information, or documentation. The add-on also works with WordPress user roles and capabilities and is compatible with Multisite.
