Set the feed content and order
Choose the number of items and sort them by date, reverse date, or at random. For each item, display the full feed text, set an excerpt word count, or hide the excerpt. Titles, source labels, publish dates, and Read more links can each be shown or hidden. You can also select whether title and Read more links open in a new window, and whether links use dofollow or nofollow behavior.
Configure images and feed loading
Retrieve a thumbnail or the first picture in a feed item, with adjustable width and height, including percentage-based sizing. Image availability and resolution depend on what the feed includes, and fetching thumbnails can increase loading time. Set a cache period in seconds, hours, or days, and choose AJAX or PHP loading. An optional setting controls whether the plugin author receives credit.
Choose a show layout
The Pro presentation options can replace source and date labels with icons, arrange items in columns or a grid, and use a masonry layout. Set the column count to suit the space where the list will appear.
Add the shortcode to WordPress
Enter the feed URL or URLs and the properties you want to configure in the [wp_rss_retriever] shortcode. Add it to a page, post, text widget, or shortcode block. In PHP locations that support do_shortcode, use that function to display the list. Adjust the item count, text, images, links, cache period, and layout in the shortcode properties.
