Set completion rules for lessons and topics
Lessons and topics can be marked complete when a learner visits them, submits a form through Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Gravity Forms or WPForms, or reaches a quiz results page with a passing mark. Completion can also be triggered when an associated quiz is manually graded. Global settings can be overridden for individual lessons and topics, and the Mark Complete buttons can be removed.
On quiz results pages inside a lesson or topic, the quiz completion module can advance learners to the next course step when they click “Click here to continue.” Single Page Courses have no associated lessons and place the Mark Complete button at the course level. A Reset Progress button lets learners clear all activity for a course and retake it.
Control page access and course navigation
Restrict Page Access can apply rules to any page based on sign-in status, course enrollment, group membership or user role. When a rule denies access, the site can show a message or redirect the user. Not Enrolled Redirect can send non-admin users to a chosen destination, such as a course sales page.
Navigation modules provide breadcrumbs for courses, lessons, topics and quizzes, plus an AJAX course navigation tree. Learners can resume at the course, lesson or topic they last visited. Login and logout links, redirects after signing in or out, and menu item visibility rules based on sign-in status are also available.
Manage group schedules and learner records
Group modules can set lesson and topic availability dates by LearnDash Group, expire groups and remove their course enrollment on a specified date, and send expiration reminder emails. They also support group-specific login redirects, logos, registration URLs and forums with bbPress. CSV imports can make or update users and assign them to courses and groups, including custom user fields.
Learner Transcript adds printable front-end records of course progress and overall standing. Certificate modules can show certificates earned for courses, quizzes and groups. User profiles can display LearnDash Group memberships, and the Course Dashboard can list enrolled courses with access to lessons, topics, quizzes, results and certificates.
Time courses and handle administration
Simple Course Timer tracks time in courses, lessons and topics and detects idle users. It adds course completion time and total course time to LearnDash reports. It can also block quiz access until the learner has spent a minimum amount of time in a course.
User Switching lets authorized users switch between accounts for testing or troubleshooting. Hide Admin Bar can conceal the WordPress Admin Bar by user role. Disable Emails stops WordPress and add-ons that use native WordPress email functions from sending messages while that module is active, which can help prevent accidental emails on development and staging sites.
Install and configure modules
Install the plugin on a WordPress site that meets the PHP and LearnDash requirements, then activate it through the Plugins menu. Configure modules for the site's course structure, learner roles, access rules, forms and reporting needs. Features are applied through module settings, shortcodes, widgets or supported LearnDash processes.
