Video Popup Premium for Click and On-Page Video Popups

Video Popup Premium displays YouTube, Vimeo, MP4, and WebM videos in responsive WordPress lightboxes and popups. Create unlimited popups, then choose whether users open them from page content or a video appears automatically in selected areas of the site.

Connect a popup to page content

Build a popup with the Classic Editor builder, choose a video source, and configure the available options. Explanations beneath each option help with setup. Shortcodes connect click-triggered popups to content in Gutenberg or a page builder, so visitors can open a video from a relevant location.

Configure a page-load display

Public On-Page Load can display a video popup automatically across selected locations, such as all posts or all pages. In the WordPress admin area, open Video Popup, choose Public On-Page Load, and follow the explanations for its options. When using this feature with autoplay, the video must be muted for autoplay to work under browser policies.

These display modes fit product presentations, service introductions, announcements, and other video content that needs a focused view. The popup lets visitors watch without placing the video as a standard embedded block.

Get started

  1. Install and activate Video Popup Premium.
  2. Create a popup with the Classic Editor builder.
  3. Select the video source and configure the available options.
  4. For a click-triggered popup, place its shortcode in Gutenberg or a page builder.
  5. For an automatic display, open Video Popup, choose Public On-Page Load, and follow the setup instructions.

Review the popup on its intended posts or pages to confirm the trigger and responsive display fit the content. If the site uses a caching add-on, clear its cache after installation so the popup modal and styles load correctly.
