The extension is designed for shared hosting, virtual private servers, dedicated servers, and server clusters. It supports SSL/TLS, mobile caching by referrer or visitor-agent group, Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), reverse proxies through Nginx or Varnish, and WP-CLI commands for cache purging and query-string updates. Disk-based database or object caching may be slow on shared hosting, so check its effect in your environment.
Manage delivery, assets, and dynamic requests
CDN tools manage delivery for the WordPress Media Library, theme files, and WordPress itself. Full Site Delivery can serve an entire site through a CDN. CDN delivery determines where supported content is served; cache options control which content or output is retained for reuse.
Minification controls cover HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including inline, embedded, and third-party assets. JavaScript can be grouped by template and embed location, with non-blocking embedding to control script placement. Pro controls can defer non-critical CSS and scripts, preload requests, and remove unused CSS or JavaScript. Lazy loading defers offscreen pictures and can load Google Maps when visible.
Fragment Cache stores selected dynamic content, while REST API Caching caches REST API calls for headless WordPress implementations. The Image Converter extension converts common image formats to WebP or AVIF on upload or on demand. The extension framework also includes customization options, including Cloudflare and WPML integrations; the WPML extension supports multilingual sites.
Configure and review cache behavior
Install and activate the extension, then configure caching, minification, CDN delivery, image conversion, and Pro capabilities for your hosting environment and site structure. Test changes after enabling each major capability. Caching statistics provide information about enabled features, and cache-purging tools support routine administration.
