WP Site Cloner Pro

WP Site Cloner Pro extends NS Cloner for WordPress duplication beyond copying a subsite within one Multisite network. Its workflows cover standard single sites, remote cloning, WP-CLI copying, database table selection, visitor cloning, custom search and replace, and saved presets.

Developers, agencies, designers, platform owners, and organizations can use a configured site as a starting point for staging, testing, regional, client, member, school, chapter, or affiliate sites.

Choose a cloning workflow

Single Site works with cloning standard WordPress sites outside a Multisite installation. Teleport can clone a subsite to a remote network or move an entire multisite network.

For local Multisite cloning, NS Cloner can copy posts, pages, custom post types, taxonomies, comments, uploaded media, menus, widgets, theme options, plugin settings, and WordPress settings. It updates URLs and other background references so the destination is configured as a separate copy. The workflow supports both subdomain and subdirectory Multisite networks.

Configure what the clone includes

Search & Replace applies custom search and replace operations to cloned content. Table Manager lets you select which database tables to clone. Users Cloning can copy visitors and permissions or make new users for cloned sites, so you can set what carries over to the destination.

Presets and command-line copying

Presets save common cloning settings for repeatable workflows. The WP-CLI Addon supports copying sites from the command line for workflows managed through developer tools or an existing command-line process.

Run and review a clone

1. Prepare the source site with the content, settings, media, and configuration you want to reuse.
2. Choose a method: single-site, Multisite, remote, or WP-CLI cloning.
3. Select search and replace rules, database tables, user options, or saved preset settings.
4. Start the clone and review the resulting site and its updated references.

For local Multisite cloning, go to Network Admin, choose the source subsite, enter the new site URL and title, then start the clone. The process runs in the background with live progress and can continue after you close the browser tab. Logging and validation features help with troubleshooting and preemptive issue detection.

Installation and access

Install WP Site Cloner Pro in the WordPress environment where you manage your sites. Open the available cloning workflow from the relevant administration tools, then configure the source, destination, and Pro options before starting.
