Collect signups for unavailable products

YITH WooCommerce Waiting List Premium lets shoppers submit an email address to join a waitlist when a product is out of stock. For variable products, they can subscribe to a specific variation, such as a size. Stores can also use waitlists to collect interest in products before a planned promotional campaign.

Choose where the signup box appears

Use the Exclusion List to select which out-of-stock products display the waitlist box. A subscriber counter can display how many customers are waiting for a product. The form can include a Privacy Policy checkbox, and you can personalize its text, button wording, and colors. Premium style settings control the box background color, border radius, and padding. You can also set the messages shown after a successful signup or an error. Google reCAPTCHA can help prevent spam registrations.

Confirm subscriptions and notify administrators

Choose whether email confirmation is required for all users or only guest users. The add-on can send a message confirming that a customer joined a waitlist and notify an administrator whenever a new subscription is created.

Configure restock and cross-sell emails

When a product returns to stock, the plugin can automatically email its subscribers. Customize the back-in-stock message in the advanced editor, then choose to notify all subscribers or limit recipients according to the available stock quantity. Cross-sell emails can recommend similar products when a waitlisted product becomes available or is unavailable. Mandrill integration is available for advanced email campaign management.

Review and manage waitlists

  • View products with waitlists and their subscribers in a dedicated table.
  • Manually add a visitor to a product waitlist.
  • Export the email addresses for a product's waitlist to a CSV file.
  • Show a My WaitLists section in customer accounts, where users can review their subscriptions and check product stock status.

Set up the waitlist workflow

Unzip the plugin package and upload its folder to wp-content/add-ons/, then activate it from the Plugins page in WordPress. Configure the signup box, choose which products display it, and set up confirmation and stock notification emails. Enable reCAPTCHA or Mandrill if needed. Before making the workflow available to clients, check the form on an out-of-stock product and confirm that variable products show the correct variation-specific signup option.
