From content scan to remediation
Accessibility Checker Pro helps WordPress content creators, site owners, and developers identify accessibility issues and review what needs attention. It runs more than 40 automated checks based on WCAG 2.2, primarily related to Level A and AA success criteria. Each finding includes documentation to explain the issue and guide remediation.
Review findings in context
Accessibility Checker scans content when it is saved or published, then displays findings in the WordPress editor. Review them on the edit screen or switch to a front-end view to see the components involved. This lets teams include accessibility review in their regular content updates.
Content changes may include adding missing alternative text, improving heading order, correcting link text, addressing color contrast, or adding headings to tables. Some findings require changes to a theme, extension, or custom code. The issue information can help teams explain those problems to the appropriate developer.
What Pro adds to scanning and fixes
Pro supports bulk full-website scans and scans for custom post types, including portfolios, team member pages, and WooCommerce products. That extends review beyond standard posts and pages.
The plugin offers one-click fixes for common barriers. Available fixes include adding skip links and focus outlines; blocking links from opening new windows; underlining links; labeling comment and search fields; adding missing language and direction attributes; making the viewport scalable; removing positive tab indexes; removing title attributes when preferred accessible names are present; warning about links that open in new tabs; showing an error for empty search submissions; and adding file size and type information to links.
Pro-specific fixes can add missing page titles, block PDF uploads, and label form fields. Use available fixes where appropriate, then review remaining findings and make any required changes to the theme, plugin, or custom code.
Fits several WordPress editing workflows
Accessibility Checker has been tested with the Gutenberg Block Editor, Classic Editor, Advanced Custom Fields, Avada, Beaver Builder, Divi, Elementor, Oxygen, WP Bakery, and WooCommerce.
Support for ongoing work
Pro clients receive unlimited personal support for plugin usage and capabilities. Customers on a small business plan or above receive two accessibility office hours calls each month for remediation questions. Issue details and linked help articles can also guide teams as they work through findings.
Getting started
Install Accessibility Checker Pro in WordPress, then save or publish content to begin scanning. Review the reported issues in the editor, apply available automated fixes where appropriate, and run broader scans for custom post types or WooCommerce content as part of ongoing accessibility review.
