Call Now Button puts a floating call button on a WordPress site. On a phone, tapping it starts a call; on desktop, its tel: link opens in the visitor’s calling app. PRO builds on that simple contact route with more buttons, actions and show controls.
Button options by plan
Without an account, the add-on delivers one call button. A free connected account works with up to five buttons, with one visible per page. It includes actions for SMS or text, email, maps, links and scrolling to a point, plus messaging actions for WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, Signal, Zalo, Viber, Line and WeChat. The account also adds advanced display rules and a live preview.
PRO is a paid plan with a 14-day free trial. It supports up to 200 buttons and allows multiple buttons on the same page. A Buttonbar groups up to five actions; Multibutton, Button Dots and Button Flower offer other layouts.
Chat and embedded content
PRO includes a WhatsApp chat window, a Messenger chat widget and live chat marked beta. You can also add slide-in content windows, embed iframes and forms, or connect Intercom chat integration.
Choose where and when buttons appear
Set a weekly schedule for each button, include or exclude countries with geo targeting, or have a button appear after users scroll. You can also limit buttons to specific posts and pages or exclude selected pages, and select whether they appear on mobile, desktop or both.
Style and track actions
Choose from eight preset screen positions or place a button across the full width at the top or bottom of the screen. Adjust its size and layering, set button and icon colors, and use labels in a top or bottom bar or in a bubble beside a round button. PRO adds an icon picker, custom button images and animations.
Call Now Button supports Google Analytics click tracking and Google Ads conversion tracking. These use the tracking tags you configure; the extension sends the event but does not install the tracking scripts. A guide is available for using Google Tag Manager.
Set up in WordPress
Install and activate Call Now Button, open its settings in the WordPress dashboard, enable the button and enter your phone number. Save to publish the basic call button. Connect an account in the dashboard when you want account or PRO functions. Before you connect, the plugin does not contact its cloud service and the button is rendered by your website. After connection, button configuration is stored and served through that service.
