Choose Editors by Role with Classic Editor and Classic Widgets PRO
Classic Editor and Classic Widgets PRO works alongside the free Classic Editor and Classic Widgets extension. The free plugin hides functionality in the Gutenberg block editor and enables the WordPress Classic Editor for posts, including TinyMCE, meta boxes, and custom fields. It also enables Classic Widgets under Appearance > Widgets and Appearance > Customize > Widgets. The extension supports Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and is compatible with WooCommerce, WPML, and Polylang.

- Choose an editor for selected visitor roles.
- Set editor choices for custom post types.
- Remember the last editor used.
- Display post states in the editing workflow.
- Exclude selected posts or pages with autocomplete.
Activation
Activate the free extension first. It applies the classic editing behavior without extra configuration. Then install and activate PRO alongside it; the free plugin does not need to be reinstalled or deactivated.
PRO includes premium support.
