MultiStep Checkout for WooCommerce Premium: Guided Checkout
MultiStep Checkout for WooCommerce Premium divides the classic WooCommerce checkout into stages such as login, billing, shipping, order review, and payment. The layout controls how stages look; separate settings control their order and which ones are enabled. This setup can suit longer checkout forms or stores with custom checkout fields.
How the checkout flow is organized
MultiStep Checkout for WooCommerce Premium divides the classic WooCommerce checkout into stages such as login, billing, shipping, order review, and payment. The layout controls how stages look; separate settings control their order and which ones are enabled. This setup can suit longer checkout forms or stores with custom checkout fields.
Choose from 14 layouts
The Premium edition expands the available selection from four layouts to 14, grouped into horizontal, vertical, and accordion styles:
- Horizontal: Horizontal Box, Horizontal Arrow, Closed Arrow, Timeline, Simple Dot Format, Looped Box, Tab Format, and Custom Separator
- Vertical: Vertical Box, Vertical Arrow, Vertical Box with Border, and Vertical Arrow with Border
- Accordion: Classic Accordion and Accordion with Icons
Set the steps and their order
Rearrange checkout steps, and enable or disable them to match the shop's workflow. Billing and shipping can share one step. Order review and payment can each have a separate step. You can keep Order Review visible on the right while Payment appears as its own stage.
The coupon form can be moved above the payment section. A Back to Cart option gives customers a way to return to their cart during checkout.
Validate fields and add guidance
Required fields can be checked before a customer continues. The checkout can check required fields in the current section before advancing to the next step.
Add custom content inside checkout steps, such as text or instructions. A progress bar can appear below the multistep layout, with a selectable style and visual customization options.
Adjust the appearance
Set various background colors for active and inactive steps, customize step titles, and adjust other display settings. The compatibility listing includes Astra, Avada, Divi builders, Storefront, OceanWP, Flatsome, Sydney, and Hestia.
Installation and setup
Install the Premium edition on a WordPress website with WooCommerce available. In the checkout settings, select a layout, configure step order and availability, set titles and colors, then select the options for billing, shipping, order review, payment, coupons, and progress display.
