Download Plugin Pro adds download and upload controls to the WordPress dashboard. The available action and format depend on the item: extensions and themes download as ZIP files, while blog posts and user data can be exported as CSV.
Save installed add-ons and themes
On the Plugins page, download an installed add-on from the link below its name, or choose several plugins for a bulk download. Themes can also be downloaded as ZIP files from the dashboard. The plugin administration area also works with uploading multiple plugins in one operation.
These downloads can help when you want to keep a copy before removing an extension, move files to another site, or preserve changes made to plugin files.
Export content and custom posts
Export blog posts individually or in bulk as CSV files. Download an individual user's data or multiple visitors' metadata in CSV format. Pages and comments can be downloaded individually or in groups; attachments are supported too.
For data stored in custom post types, download one custom post or select multiple posts. Examples include WooCommerce products, Easy Digital Downloads, Portfolio Post Types, Slider Revolution, bbPress, WP Job Manager, and JetPack.
Use Pro for website copies and uploads
Pro can download a WordPress site as a backup, with or without database and media files. The downloaded site can then be uploaded or restored as required. Pro also adds upload options for pages, posts, users, and comments.
For a selected-item task, open the relevant dashboard area, pick one item or select multiple entries for a bulk action, then use the available download or upload control. The format and options vary by item.
