How does the Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO work?

Choose where quantity rules apply

Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO lets WooCommerce stores control purchase quantities and set cart requirements for checkout. Rules can apply to individual or variable products, product categories, customers, carts, and specific periods.

Set minimum and maximum quantities for products or categories. The Pro edition also supports default and step quantities across all shop products. Choose a radio button, dropdown, or default input for the quantity selector.

Product conditions shape each rule

Product rules can depend on total sales, price, stock, product age, attributes, or best-seller status. These conditions let a quantity requirement respond to a product's catalog or sales context.

Customer and cart details can affect requirements

Set user-specific quantity rules for individual customers or user roles. Cart conditions can use shipping methods, shipping zones, or applied coupons. Rules may also use the customer's country to vary requirements by location.

When a rule combines conditions, select Any to match when at least one condition is met, or All to require every condition.

Checkout depends on cart and order thresholds

Configure minimum and maximum order values and quantities, along with limits on the number of items required to proceed to checkout. Global cart rules can display custom messages and block checkout when their requirements are unmet. You can also conceal the checkout button when conditions are not satisfied and exclude specific products from global checkout rules.

Rule timing and display options

Set start and end times for quantity restrictions to define when they apply. Show applied rules on individual product pages with a custom headline and position. Global rules can also appear on the cart page, where customers can review requirements before checkout.

Validation messages can tell customers when they reach a maximum quantity. Custom messages can explain global cart requirements.

Installation and setup

Install and activate the add-on in your WooCommerce store, then create the quantity, product, user, cart, and time rules you need. Configure selector preferences, messages, rule visibility, and checkout behavior before applying the settings to products and customers.
