PrettyLinks Pro: Branded Link Management for WordPress

Manage branded links in WordPress

PrettyLinks Pro extends a WordPress link manager for affiliate marketers, bloggers, podcasters, social media customers, and other publishers. The core plugin turns long destinations into short, branded links on your own domain. If a destination changes, update the saved link once so its published short link can direct users to the new address.

Click and unique-click tracking can record referrer, IP, browser, operating system, and host data. Reports can be filtered by date range and link, with totals for all or unique clicks. Tracking controls include IP anonymization, configurable click-record retention, and bot filtering.

Automate links and pick redirects

The core add-on supports 301, 302, and 307 redirects. Paid editions add cloaked, JavaScript, meta-refresh, tracking pixel, and branded splash page redirects. Keyword and URL replacements can turn matching terms in website content into branded links. PrettyLinks can also make a link automatically when you publish a post or page, while categories and tags help organize a growing link library.

Optional Redirect Turbo Mode can answer pretty-link requests before the rest of WordPress loads.

Set destinations by visitor or schedule

Target visitors by country, device, browser, operating system, day, or hour. Link rotation distributes traffic across destinations by weight or round-robin, and A/B split testing lets you compare destinations within a campaign.

Set a link to expire on a date or after a click limit, then choose where visitors go after expiration. Scheduled link health scans flag broken destinations, and email digests identify links that may need attention. Each link can also have a downloadable QR code, with an optional logo in the center.

Reports, add-ons, and link utilities

Advanced reports add click-history breakdowns, KPI cards, charts, and a conversion-tracking pixel for thank-you pages. Pretty Bar can frame third-party destinations with a branded top, bottom, or floating bar and a call to action.

Pro includes six optional add-ons: Link in Bio, Developer Tools, Product Displays, Splash Pages, UTMs, and User Links. Link in Bio and Developer Tools are available with Marketer and higher editions; Product Displays, Splash Pages, UTMs, and User Links are available with Executive. These add-ons support link-in-bio landing pages, product cards, branded interstitials, UTM parameters, and a dashboard where logged-in visitors can manage their own links. Developer Tools provides API tokens and webhooks.

The React-based administration area includes bulk actions, one-click duplication, auto-saving options, and quick link copying from the links list, editor, or a Gutenberg block. CSV tools support bulk link importing and click-history export.

Installation and setup

Install and activate PrettyLinks in WordPress, then set permalinks to any structure other than Plain. Open PrettyLinks in the admin menu and follow the onboarding wizard to create your first link. The plugin works mainly in the WordPress administration area, and its front-end components are theme-agnostic. Back up your site before a major upgrade.
