Translate manually, use automatic translation for a first draft, or combine both and refine the result in the editor. Each Premium version includes full TranslatePress AI access with a set number of AI-translated words. Google Translate is also available with your own API key, and you can enable or disable automatic translation. DeepL Automatic Translation is available as a separate add-on that uses the DeepL API.
Manage language versions
- Extra Languages: add an unlimited number of translation languages and publish each language when its translations are complete.
- SEO Pack: translate page titles, descriptions, URL slugs, image alt tags, and Twitter and Facebook Social Graph tags. It works with popular SEO add-ons.
- Different Domain per Language: assign a different domain to each added language.
- Translator Accounts: let existing visitors or created accounts translate the website without administrator rights.
- Browse as User Role: view and translate content visible to a particular user role.
- Navigation Based on Language: configure different menu entries for different languages.
- Automatic User Language Detection: redirect first-time visitors to a preferred language based on browser settings or IP address.
Display the language switcher as a menu entry, floating dropdown, Language Switcher block, or shortcode. Choose whether language names appear in their native form or in English, open custom links in the current language, and enable or disable a URL subdirectory for the default language.
Translate media and dynamic text
Translate images, sliders, and other media. Translate dynamic gettext strings from WordPress, themes, and plugins, including English strings without adding another language. Merge strings into translation blocks, translate multiple HTML elements together with Translation Blocks, or use a conditional show shortcode for language-specific content. You can also translate selected paths and exclude content from translation.
Configure the website
