Configure WordPress administration for clients

Ultimate Client Dash Pro is a white-label WordPress extension for agencies, freelancers, and site owners. It lets you tailor the dashboard, login page, and landing pages, and control what clients can see and do in the administration area.

Prepare dashboard and login branding

Customize the WordPress admin top bar, footer, menu presentation, link and button colors, greeting text, and other dashboard details. Add custom CSS to the dashboard and login page.

For the login screen, set a custom logo, background image, overlay, footer text, and selected URL links. Choose whether to show links such as “Back to Site” and “Forgot Password.”

For broader white-label control, replace the active theme’s name with your rebrand name in the WordPress Dashboard. For the client user role, you can conceal the plugin from the plugin list and hide update notifications and nags.

Set client roles and access

Create a client user role and assign clients to it. Remove menu items from a dynamically populated list, with controls that can apply to all roles or specifically to clients. WordPress core, theme, and plugin capabilities also populate dynamically so you can pick the capabilities for the client role.

• Limit or extend client capabilities.
• Remove selected dashboard menu items.
• Disable fatal PHP error protection email notifications and WordPress auto-update email notifications.

Add dashboard content and landing pages

Create up to four custom dashboard widgets, which can use shortcodes. Custom welcome messages can include images, iframes, shortcodes, and other content to provide client instructions or information in the dashboard.

For public-facing site states, make a Coming Soon or Under Construction landing page with a custom logo, call-to-action button, social media links, and customizable styling. Pro adds custom CSS for the landing page and options to set its meta title and description.

Google Analytics tracking is available for the landing page and site. Other options include Facebook Pixels, head scripts, frontend CSS, and custom JavaScript.

Install and configure

Install Ultimate Client Dash Pro on the WordPress site where you want to manage the client dashboard. After activation, configure the branding, client role, dashboard controls, widgets, landing page, and tracking options from the plugin’s options and administration screens.
